Information on Managing Your Woods

Mass DCR and the USDA's Forest Service have published a lot of helpful information on managing your woods to achieve various goals, such as wildlife habitat, climate resilience, carbon storage, and so on.  Further, getting a state-approved forest management plan through Mass DCR may also entitle you to tax benefits as well.  Check out the tab in the left column labeled "Managing Your Woods" for more information and also be on the lookout for further Tree Committee information and activities related to managing your woods.
