Perennial Stream Observations during Massachusetts Drought 5/1/2022-2/13/2023

As of February 13, 2023 Massachusetts is no longer listed as in a drought.

Observations of dry perennial streams made on or after February 13, 2023 may once again be submitted to the Conservation Commission as proof that a stream is intermittent in the Northeast Drought Region, which includes West Newbury.

However, for the Northeast Drought Region the Conservation Commission can not accept observations of dry streams made between May 1, 2022, and February 13, 2023, when the region was in drought.
