West Newbury Classification Hearing

Under MGL Chapter 40, Section 56, the Town of West Newbury Select Board and Board of Assessors will conduct an annual public hearing regarding the share of property taxes between the different property classes.
Said hearing will be conducted on Monday November 15th, 2021 at 7:00pm at the West Newbury Town Hall, 381 Main Street, West Newbury, MA 01985.
At the hearing the Select Board will hear testimony as to what the residential factor will be, which will determine the share of taxes each classification of property will pay, what will the open space factor will be, and whether to adopt a residential or small commercial exemption. All interested parties are invited to attend.
