River PictureJoin your neighbors for a Virtual Event on December 7, 6:00-7:30 pm to learn and discuss

Tidal Rivers and Sea Level Rise: West Newbury

How will climate change impact River Road and surrounding areas?
Whether directly or indirectly, we will all feel the impacts of continued sea level rise. Being informed about these changes builds our community capacity to respond and be prepared for higher seas.
This event, brought to us by consultants Gulf of Maine Research Institute (GMRI), supports the town's MVP Action Grant, Evaluating Vulnerabilities and Options to Promote Resilience along the tidal Merrimack River.

Sign PictureHave you experienced or read about flooding in West Newbury? Does it seem to be happening more frequently?
Join us for an evening to:

•    discuss current river flooding,
•    examine how this is tied to coastal events and sea level rise, and
•    explore possible adaptation strategies.
