The Tree Committee's Arbor Day - Press Release

Leading into Arbor Day in April, The Tree Committee will be sharing stories to promote the importance of trees.

Arbor Day is a day to gather and celebrate trees and all that they do for us. It is a day to show gratitude by caring for current trees, planting new ones, and simply getting outside and enjoying the fresh air and beauty that they provide. Every year, National Arbor Day falls on the last Friday in April.

This is a nice story about an historic tree in town that is on the property of a family that planted it 100 years ago.
