MVP Grant: Merrimack River Boat Tour- Capacity Reached

Thank you for the overwhelming support! We have reached capacity for the October 3 Climate Change and Resiliency Committee’s Merrimack River Boat Tour and cannot accommodate any additional guests. As part of the MVP resiliency grant to study climate change impacts on River Road and environs, we will have many more activities, and opportunities for your participation and feedback through FY24.

The Town of West Newbury has been awarded $150,000 in climate resiliency grant funding to study vulnerabilities and potential solutions to flood risk from the Merrimack River at River Road and environs for the years 2030, 2050, and 2070.   As a result of the grant award, we are pleased to invite you on a Merrimack River Boat Tour with discussion and the opportunity to view River Road from the waterside. 

Space is limited, please RSVP as soon as possible to reserve your spot!  To RSVP please email Climate@WNewbury.org with the number of attendees no later than 12pm Monday, October 2nd.

Once the boat capacity has been reached, your name will be added to a waitlist in the event additional seating becomes available.
