GROWING NATIVE MEDICINAL PLANTS

Wednesday, March 23rd at 7:00 pm via ZOOM

Join local herbalist, Hannah Sparks, as she shares her knowledge about native New England medicinal plants. Participants will learn how these plants have been used in traditional medicine for generations to support health and wellness and how to grow their own Botanical Sanctuary in both sun and shade. Herbs and health have always been a part of Hannah's life. Her basic principle is that using herbs should be simple and easily incorporated into your life. She uses a common sense approach when educating others so that they can use what they have learned safely and with confidence.

Hannah's formal herbal education began at the age of fourteen under the tutelage of her godmother, a Registered Herbalist with the American Herbalists’ Guild. Graduating from EarthSong Herbals in 1993 with a focus in Clinical Studies, she continued her herbal studies and enhanced her skills with experience in aromatherapy, flower essences, gardening, and habitat restoration. Hannah is a Practicing Herbalist and provides educational opportunities, wellness consultations, and her own curated line of herbal products. As a steward of our planet, environmental sustainability is at the heart of Hannah’s Herbals – collectively our choices as small business owners can create positive change.
