Good Luck to the West Newbury Riverhawks!

West Newbury Riverhawks will be competing in Cooperstown, NY next week

West Newbury Riverhawks Team

The West Newbury Riverhawks is a team of eleven 12 year olds from West Newbury, Groveland, and Merrimac who are headed to Cooperstown, NY this Saturday for a weeklong tournament! The boys practiced through the fall, winter, and spring seasons and most recently competed in the West Newbury River Rivals baseball tournament held right here in WN to lead up to this event. To make this trip possible, we fundraised through multiple events like a community Board and Brush, Family Raffle Basket, Basketball Brackets, and Football Squares to name a few. We also had TWELVE amazing local businesses sponsor us! We were thrilled with the outpouring of support and we are so excited to represent our community in Cooperstown, New York next week.
