The Pentucket Arts Foundation --with support from Essex County Community Foundation and Haverhill Bank-- would like to announce a fun and free multi-week event this month for residents from Groveland, Merrimac and West Newbury.

"Drawing from our Past: A Tri-Town Tape Art Festival" runs from July 12 to August 3, and features "Pageant Day", a free community arts event for all ages and artistic ability levels on July 27 (raindate July 28)  With the internationally acclaimed Tape Art Crew leading us, participants at Pageant Day will work together to create a life sized mural featuring characters from the tri-town region's past, present, and future using colored tape as a medium and the walls behind the Pentucket Middle School for a canvas.

Pageant Day kicks off at 1 p.m. and will include music from Zach Field and his Plum Island Pans steel drum band and the Cow Mobile Ice Cream Parlor food truck. No pre-registration needed, just come on down to the Middle School at 1 p.m. on July 27 and join the fun! For more information visit www.pentucketarts.org
