Learn about two current realities of child removal in the United States: the separation of migrant families at U.S. borders and the racial biases and corruption in U.S. foster care and adoption systems.
Panelists include: Roxanna Asgarian a journalist and author of We Were Once A Family: A Story of Love, Death, and Child Removal in America; Jessica Chicco the Director of the New Americans Initiative at the Massachusetts Immigrant & Refugee Advocacy Coalition; and Cheryl Aguilar, LCSW, the Founding Director of Hope Center for Wellness.
