West Newbury Holiday Recycling Information

Happy Holidays!  Thank you for your recycling efforts over the past year.  Following are some guidelines for recycling during the holiday and winter months:

Christmas trees (bare / no decorations)

• a dedicated roll-off container will be located on the access road to the Pipestave Recycling Area (for Christmas trees only)
• container will be available for drop-off January 3-12, 2022

DO include the following items in your paper recycling mix:

• broken down corrugated cardboard boxes
• paperboard gift boxes
• greeting cards and envelopes (except those with foil, metallic inks, or glitter)
• gift wrap, gift bags, tissue wrap (except those with foil, metallic inks, or glitter)
• paper shopping bags (any type of handle is okay)

Do NOT include the following items in your recycling mix:

• ribbons, bows, and tinsel
• packing peanuts and Styrofoam (Re-usable, contact your local pack and ship store)
• plastic bags (bring back to most grocery stores for recycling)
