Town Meeting Recessed and Continued

Following on conversations with the Board of Selectmen, Town Clerk/Counsel, Board of Health and Town Manager at the Board of Selectmen meeting on May 11, 2020, the Town Moderator, today, provided notice to the Town of West Newbury to recess and continue the Annual Town Meeting and Special Town Meeting previously scheduled for June 1, 2020.  The Town Meeting will be recessed and continued until 10:00 AM on June 27, 2020 at the Town Office Complex, 379 Main Street, West Newbury, MA.  The Declaration of Town Moderator can be found here and is attached below.

Many Town officials are working in close coordination, and with attention to all state and federal guidelines, to develop protocols to ensure that the Town Meeting will follow public health best practices.  More information regarding the format and conduct of Town Meeting will be posted as available.
