Commonwealth Budget includes permanent increase to Community Preservation Act (CPA) Trust Fund!

And, announcement of Fall Town Meeting West Newbury CPC application guidelines and deadline

The West Newbury Community Preservation Committee (CPC) would like to share the news it received regarding the increased CPA revenues included in the FY20 Commonwealth Budget signed yesterday. The West Newbury CPC had supported this effort and its members are delighted with the outcome!

More details regarding this announcement can be found on the Community Preservation Coalition website: https://www.communitypreservation.org/home/news/governor-baker-signs-fy20-budget-cpa-funding-increase

This is also a reminder that it is not too late to submit Applications to the CPC for project funding!  The Fall Town Meeting cycle will be starting before we even realize it.  The CPC will be meeting on August 15th.  To allow time for the CPC members to review a submittal, we request that Applications filed be submitted on the Thursday before the scheduled meeting date, so no later than August 8th for the Fall Town Meeting.

The CPC's Guidelines and Application forms are posted on the CPC webpage.  https://www.wnewbury.org/sites/g/files/vyhlif1436/f/uploads/guidelines_apps_excerpt_6_3_2019.pdf   The recently updated Community Preservation Plan is also posted on the CPC webpage.
